The product image is a picture of a high quality scan of my original painting, from which the Giclee print will be made. Because of the glistening paints and sparkling and glossy pens I use, pictures don’t do the final result justice. The hand repainted prints are spectacular. I was working on this drawing on a plane as it was filling up and getting ready to taxi.At this point I had 20 drawings that I had started doing in my sawed-off, quad-ruled Moleskine journals, with no specific outcome in mind, through the serendipity of a leaking fountain pen, and had continued to do to pass the time on long flights, and tour bus rides, and days off in cities all over the US and around the world. I always chose an aisle seat, and as a young man excused himself past me to take the middle seat next to me, he looked at my work and said, "I'd have that on my wall." This was the first moment I realized that someday I might be able to sell some of my artwork.
