The product image is a picture of a high quality scan of my original painting, from which the Giclee print will be made. Gallery images show the original drawing, and other views, including what the piece looks like framed. Because of the glistening paints and sparkling and glossy pens I use, pictures don’t do the final result justice. The hand repainted prints are spectacular. Sad Frankenstein was the 16th drawing from my first batch of drawings, which I call Smoothodelic, Volume I. I'm particularly fond of Sad Frankenstein for many reasons. Mostly he reminds me of my father-in-law Frank Dropsho. Frank was a wonderfully sensitive, good to the core person who always had an air of profound sadness about him. Every time I look at poor, misunderstood Sad Frankenstein, I see Frank. Sad Frankenstein also captured the hearts of Neal Doughty and Darya Gemel and became the first of several pieces they have bought from me over the last few years. It was Darya who convinced me that I could sell my art.
