The product image is a picture of a high quality scan of my original painting, from which the Giclee print will be made. Gallery images show the original drawing, and other views, including what the piece looks like framed. Because of the glistening paints and sparkling and glossy pens I use, pictures don’t do the final result justice. The hand repainted prints are spectacular. Thee Men quickly became a band of animals rocking on stage as the drawing presented itself to me. When I was a junior in high school my family moved from Rockford, Illinois to Terre Haute, Indiana. God, I hated that. I had left my band back in Rockford and started looking around for like-minded musicians in Terre Haute. The band I settled on and befriended was called "Thee Evolution". I always thought that use of "Thee" was pretty funny, Then, when I had a band of animals up onstage playing, thinking they're pretty cool, I thought, "What would they call themselves? A group of humans named their band The Animals. Well, these animals named their band Thee Men." As Emmanuel Volakis of Volakis Gallery was scanning and printing the 57 images from Smoothodelic Volume one, when he pulled the fresh print of this one off the printer he said, "Look at that badass horse!"
