In 2019 I became gravely ill with pulmonary fibrosis and was pulled off the road after 17 years as Kevin Cronin's guitar tech. A year later COVID hit. I had a double lung transplant at the same time. Since then Kevin and REO have found creative ways to help me build a new life.
Last summer I made a painting called Time For Me To Fly . I scanned my original painting, changed the Dark Horse to White Pegasus, made a mirror image, and had it printed on canvas. I repainted the entire piece. The original lyric snippet:
"I know it hurts to say good-bye,
But it's time for me to fly."
Handwritten and signed by Kevin Cronin is embedded in the cloud.
