Who am I

and how did I

end up here?

I joined my first band and wrote my first song at thirteen. I’ve written a thousand more since then. I have worked a hundred different jobs.  I’m an inveterate walker and street photographer.

I have toured the world as a musician with EIEIO and as a stage tech for The Bangles, Tracy Chapman and the Eels. Before my double lung transplant on April 17,2020, I spent 17 years on the road as guitar tech for Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon.

A few years ago, due to a leaky fountain pen on a flight to somewhere at 30,000 feet, I discovered a world of drawing magical images that allowed me to express things I couldn’t say with words. I worked on planes, in coffee shops over cappuccino, in hotel rooms, on buses, and now that I am off the road, at home with a cat on my lap.

My art in all its forms keeps me sane and helps me to understand my place in the world.  It excites, enlightens and entertains me. I hope it does the same for you.
